Binance Enters Foreign Exchange Market with New Perpetual Contract
Binance is expanding its offerings into foreign exchange markets with the launch of its first FX perpetual futures contract, USDBRLUSDT. This new product will allow users to trade price movements of traditional assets without directly owning them.
The initial contract, which tracks the U.S. dollar against the Brazilian real and settles in USDT, is scheduled to go live on September 21 with a maximum leverage of up to 100x. Trading will be available 24/7, with positions settled every eight hours through funding fees.
Binance's expansion into TradFi Perps marks the next stage of its growth in this category. The exchange has established different price-index calculation methods for regular trading periods and when conventional FX markets are closed.
