Binance Expands Global FX Market Access with New Perpetual Futures Product
Binance is expanding its TradFi Perpetual product category by introducing Foreign Exchange (FX) perpetual futures, offering regulated USDT-settled access to the global FX market. The first FX perpetual contract, USDBRLUSDT (USD/Brazil Real), will go live on September 21, 2026 at 14:00 UTC.
The new product is designed for traders who want to express macro views and hedge exposures around the clock. Binance's TradFi perps have already proven their leadership in price discovery during weekends, with a 2.6-3.8 times higher volume than peer venues. The company applies a dual-mode pricing framework to maintain fair and orderly markets when traditional FX liquidity thins on weekends.
Binance Head of Exchange and Trading, Shunyet Jan, stated that 'FX is one of the world's most foundational markets, traded every moment to hedge and express macro views.' He emphasized Binance's position as a global leader in extending continuous price discovery into the gaps traditional FX cannot cover. The introduction of FX perpetual futures aims to provide traders with a single venue for expressing macro views and capturing opportunities 24/7.
