Binance Expands TradFi Perpetuals with Six New Contracts
Binance has launched six new USDⓈ-Margined TradFi perpetual contracts, expanding its futures lineup. The exchange's support notice states that these contracts track traditional equities and ETFs, not crypto tokens.
The contracts were introduced on two separate days: August 17 and 18, 2026. Five of the six went live back-to-back on the first day, with CXMTUSDT following the next morning.
The contracts are exempt from Binance's usual funding-interval adjustment rule, meaning the funding interval won't shift even if the rate hits its cap or floor.
Two notable additions to Binance's leveraged perpetual lineup are NETUSDT (Cloudflare) and SHOPUSDT (Shopify), which bring well-known Nasdaq and NYSE tickers into the mix. This move is seen as part of a strategy to narrow the gap between crypto trading and traditional brokerage products.
