Binance Expands TradFi Push with Physically Settled Options on 1,000+ US Equities

Binance has expanded its push into traditional finance by introducing physically settled options on over 1,000 US equities through its platform. The new product allows eligible users outside the US to trade options on a wide range of stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) alongside cryptocurrencies.

The options are not held or controlled by Binance itself, but rather through partnerships with Nest Trading Limited and Alpaca Securities LLC. Nest introduces orders from Binance customers to Alpaca for execution, clearing, and settlement, while also holding the shares on behalf of the user after exercise.

This move marks a significant step forward in Binance's efforts to integrate traditional finance products into its platform, which already offers exposure to various forms of equity and cryptocurrency. The company has stated that eligible customers can easily move between different products without leaving the Binance interface.
