Binance Expands US Equity Options for Non-US Users
Binance has rolled out stock options on over 1,000 US-listed equities for non-US users, giving them access to American equity markets. The product went live on September 1 and allows users to buy calls and puts with their maximum loss limited to the premium paid upfront.
The options are physically settled, meaning that users who exercise a contract receive or deliver the actual underlying shares, held in custody by Alpaca Securities LLC.
Fees for the new product are charged primarily in USD Coin (USDC), with other cryptocurrencies accepted subject to availability. The exchange plans to expand the list of eligible stocks and ETFs over time.
