Binance Faces EU Review Over Ongoing Operations After MiCA Miss

Binance is under review by EU regulators over its continued operations in Europe after missing out on a MiCA license.

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and national regulators in France, Germany, and Greece are examining whether Binance can rely on the 'reverse solicitation' exemption to keep serving some customers.

This exemption allows companies to continue operating if they have been invited by clients to do so, but Binance's broader European licensing position remains unresolved.

Regulators may take enforcement action if they reject Binance's interpretation of the rule.
