Binance Futures Trading Surges Past Spot Market Activity
Binance's Bitcoin futures trading activity has reached an all-time high, outshining its spot market by a significant margin. Daily futures volume on the exchange surged to approximately $57.82 billion on July 6, while spot trading managed just $6.08 billion, according to CryptoQuant data.
This gap between futures and spot activity represents the widest ever recorded on Binance, with a ratio of roughly 9.5 to 1. The numbers behind this divergence are striking, as Binance's daily futures volumes have consistently ranged between $47 billion and $57 billion in recent sessions, with BTC/USDT serving as the dominant trading pair.
Zooming out further, the monthly picture is equally impressive. Binance's total futures volume for June 2026 clocked in at approximately $1.61 trillion, an 80% jump from May and marking the highest monthly total recorded this year.
