Binance Haults Services This Week, Delists Trading Pairs
Binance will temporarily halt some services this week to perform a scheduled upgrade and maintenance on its Tron Network. On August 13, wallet maintenance is planned for about one hour, which will suspend TRX deposits and withdrawals.
During this time, trading of tokens on the network will not be impacted. The exchange has assured that it will handle all technical requirements involving users.
After reviewing its listed cryptocurrencies, Binance decided to delist trading pairs and digital assets that no longer meet the necessary standards. Seven trading pairs will be removed, including APT/BTC, AR/BTC, A/USDC, BTTC/TRY, CYBER/USDC, LPT/BTC, and WAL/FDUSD.
The affected tokens did not witness significant volatility following the news, but Binance's delisting has previously triggered price collapses in other cryptocurrencies.
