Binance, the global cryptocurrency exchange, has announced that Brazilian users will need to provide additional details for cross-border crypto transfers starting November 1, 2026. The platform will require users to specify the purpose and recipient information before any withdrawal. If this information is missing, deposits may be held or returned.

This change does not affect transfers between Brazilian users. Binance will report these transactions monthly to Brazil’s central bank. For transfers up to $50,000, users will have 10 purpose options, while larger transfers will require one of 96 categories.
