Binance Integrates Stocks, Seeks Multi-Asset Dominance
Binance has expanded its services to include over 7,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs alongside cryptocurrencies, aiming to become a multi-asset financial hub.
The platform now allows users to trade stocks and crypto together, with settlements conducted in stablecoins like USDC, USDT, USD1, and BNB.
This move is part of Binance's push to remove barriers for global users, particularly in emerging markets, where over 80% of the trading volume in the first week of direct stock trading came from.
The integration of stocks into Binance's platform simplifies portfolio management and offers traders better insights into market dynamics, reducing slippage risks. The addition of tokenized securities, branded as 'bStocks,' also allows users to trade, withdraw, and leverage select U.S. equities on-chain.
