Binance Invests $100 Million in Circle, Expands Partnership for USDC Promotion
Binance has invested $100 million in Circle to expand its partnership and promote the use of USDC, a stablecoin issued by Circle.
The new investment is part of a five-year agreement between Binance and Circle, which will see Binance promoting USDC across its global platform, particularly in emerging markets.
Circle's infrastructure services will support holding and using USDC on the Binance platform.
This move follows Binance's registration with the Financial Intelligence Unit-India (FIU-IND) in 2024, which allowed it to resume operations after a six-month gap.
