Binance Launches Blockchain Learning Program 'Academania Skill-Up' Across South Asia

Binance has launched an incentivized learning program called 'Academania Skill-Up' across South Asia, aimed at rewarding users for blockchain learning. The six-month campaign allows participants to complete a selected Binance Academy course each month and earn a certificate, which can be used to enter a draw for rewards.

The initiative reflects the growing need for crypto literacy in the region, where India ranks sixth globally for grassroots crypto adoption and second for transaction volume. Many new users lack basic knowledge of wallet security, scam recognition, or blockchain mechanics, making education a prerequisite for responsible investment.

SB Seker, Head of APAC at Binance, emphasized that 'The gap today isn’t access, it’s understanding.' He believes that making education accessible and incentivizing learning can bridge the knowledge gap and help users approach crypto with confidence.

The program runs six monthly editions, each featuring a different course. The first edition, which covers blockchain basics, DeFi, Web3, and trading concepts, is live now and participants must submit certificates by October 5. Winners will be announced on October 15.
