Binance Launches Crypto Education Program in India

Binance has introduced a new education initiative in response to India's rising crypto adoption. The six-month ‘Academania Skill-Up’ program offers free courses through Binance Academy to users across South Asia. Participants who complete monthly courses and meet requirements can enter a draw for rewards, including a 10 USDT spot voucher for ten winners each month.

The program comes as India ranks sixth globally in grassroots crypto adoption and second in transaction volume, according to Chainalysis' 2026 Global Crypto Adoption Index. Binance highlights the need for greater awareness on wallet security, scams, and blockchain fundamentals. SB Seker, Head of APAC at Binance, emphasized the importance of understanding crypto basics, stating, ‘For someone starting out, a two-hour course can mean the difference between recognizing a scam and losing savings.’

The first edition covers blockchain basics, DeFi, Web3, and trading concepts. The second edition will focus on AI-related topics through the ‘AI Unlocked: Agents and Skills’ course. To qualify for rewards, users must complete the month's featured course and share their certificate on X and Binance Square before the deadline.

The initiative expands Binance's existing education efforts in India, including Binance Academy, Binance Blockchain Yatra, and the Binance Case Challenge.
