Binance Launches Incentivized Learning Program for South Asian Users
Binance has launched 'Academania Skill-Up', a six-month learning campaign for users across South Asia, to support beginners in building foundational knowledge of blockchain and digital assets. The program offers free, self-paced courses through Binance Academy, with participants earning certificates and entering draws for rewards.
The initiative aims to address the gap between access and understanding in the crypto market, where millions of first-time users lack basic knowledge of wallet security, scam recognition, or blockchain mechanics. India ranks sixth globally for grassroots crypto adoption and second for transaction volume, according to Chainalysis' 2026 Global Crypto Adoption Index.
The program runs six monthly editions, with each edition featuring a different course. The first edition covers blockchain basics, DeFi, Web3, and trading concepts. Participants can follow @BinanceForIN and @BinanceDesi on X for monthly course announcements.
SB Seker, Head of APAC at Binance, said 'The gap today isn't access, it's understanding.' He emphasized the importance of building foundational knowledge so people can approach crypto with confidence, not just curiosity.
