Binance Launches South Asia Learning Program
Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume and users, has launched 'Academania Skill-Up', a six-month learning campaign for South Asian users. The program aims to bridge the knowledge gap in the region, where crypto adoption is rapidly growing but literacy rates are low.
The initiative features free self-paced courses on Binance Academy, with each month's course building upon the previous one. Participants who complete the course and submit their certificate will be entered into a draw for rewards. The first edition of Academania Skill-Up covers blockchain basics, DeFi, Web3, and trading concepts.
'The gap today isn't access, it's understanding,' said SB Seker, Head of APAC at Binance. 'For someone starting out, a two-hour course can mean the difference between recognizing a scam and losing savings.'
