Binance Lists Hyperliquid (HYPE) with Three Spot Pairs
Binance has listed Hyperliquid (HYPE) on its platform, making it available for spot trading against three pairs: Tether (USDT), USDC (USDC), and the Turkish lira (TRY). The listing went live at 11 a.m. UTC on September 24.
The token was initially up about 1.5% within 10 minutes of the announcement, but later gave back some of those gains. Despite this, HYPE has been trending upward in recent hours, bucking the broader market decline that saw it dip nearly 3% over the past day.
Binance did not charge a listing fee for Hyperliquid and opened spot algorithmic orders alongside trading. However, users from certain regions, including the US, Canada, the Netherlands, and several others, cannot trade any of the new pairs.
The exchange has applied its Seed Tag to HYPE, indicating that it considers the token more volatile and riskier than other listed assets. As a result, users must pass a risk quiz every 90 days to continue trading the token on Binance Spot or Margin.
