Binance Moves AI Closer to Real-Money Trading with New Intelligence Platform
Binance has launched Binance Intelligence, a platform that integrates personalized market research with AI-generated trading strategies, marking a significant step toward AI-driven real-money trading. The service, available from October 5, allows users to create trading strategies using natural language and execute them through dedicated sub-accounts, limiting the AI's access to manually funded capital.
The platform includes Binance AI Pro, which lets users describe trading ideas in natural language, convert them into executable workflows, and paper trade before deploying real money. This approach aims to make automated trading more accessible while maintaining strict controls over AI's authority, as the AI cannot independently access the user's main balance.
Binance is not alone in this endeavor. Coinbase is also developing an AI-focused ecosystem, but with a developer-oriented approach. Both companies are working toward a future where AI agents can perform financial actions under human supervision, but they differ in their starting points and execution strategies.
Binance's existing infrastructure, Agent OS, already processes over 280,000 daily calls, connecting AI applications with market data, trading, and other financial services. The company is betting that users will pay for AI capabilities that go beyond market summaries to actual strategy execution, with pricing starting at 19.99 USDC per month for premium features.
The rollout of Binance AI Pro will be a key test of whether users trust AI with their money, as the success of the platform will depend on how many users transition from paper trading to live execution with funded sub-accounts.
