Binance Pay Arrives in Japan for Overseas Visitors

Binance has launched its payment service, Binance Pay, in Japan, allowing eligible overseas users to spend Tether's USDT at millions of merchants across the country.

The service is made possible through HIVEX, a payment interoperability framework that connects overseas QR payment services to PayPay-supported merchants in Japan.

Binance Pay will enable users to make transactions with USDT at major chains, smaller retailers, vending machines, taxis, and public transportation.

According to the source, PayPay is accepted at millions of locations nationwide, including those listed above. It also supports nine other overseas payment services through HIVEX, mainly from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
