Binance Pay Expands to Millions of Japanese Merchants via HIVEX

Binance Pay has expanded its presence in Japan, allowing eligible overseas users to make payments at millions of merchant locations nationwide through HIVEX.

This interoperability enables approximately 48 million Binance Pay users across more than 100 countries and regions to use their digital assets for travel-related purchases such as dining, shopping, and accommodation.

Binance's VP of Payments & Fiat, Thomas Gregory, said that the integration with PayPay reflects a shared vision of making payments more seamless, borderless, and accessible for travelers visiting Japan.
