Binance Pay USDT Expands to Millions of Japanese Merchants
Binance Pay USDT has expanded its services in Japan, allowing eligible overseas users to make payments at millions of merchant locations nationwide using the stablecoin. The rollout targets international visitors who use Binance Pay during trips to Japan and enables them to spend their digital assets on everyday purchases.
The integration connects Binance Pay with Japan's established QR payment infrastructure through HIVEX, which serves as the interoperability layer connecting overseas payment services with local merchant networks.
According to Binance, its Japanese launch is based on its QR payment ecosystem in major Asian travel hubs, and the company has focused on cross-border spending. With this partnership, users can make payments across millions of merchant locations, including businesses serving dining, shopping, and accommodation needs.
