Binance PoS Validation Process Raises Centralization Concerns

Binance has released a breakdown of its Proof of Stake (PoS) validation process, providing insight into how validators are selected and compensated on the platform.

According to the report, Binance's PoS validation process is based on a weighted voting system, where delegators can vote for validators using their own tokens. Validators who receive more votes gain a higher priority in the block production process and earn a larger share of the transaction fees.

The report notes that the top 10 validators on Binance's PoS network hold approximately 50% of the total voting power, with the top validator controlling around 15%. This concentration of voting power has raised concerns about the potential for centralization and manipulation of the validation process.
