Binance Seeks Asian Breakthrough at Blockchain Week Bangkok
Binance is planning to host its Asia Edition of Binance Blockchain Week in Bangkok, Thailand on November 28-29 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The event will focus on the convergence of traditional finance and digital assets, with a goal of making it easier for banks, payment networks, and crypto infrastructure to work together.
Binance sees Asia as a key testing ground for its regulated crypto models, due to growing institutional interest and a more progressive policy environment in Thailand. The company's Co-CEO Richard Teng emphasized the importance of practical progress in user protections, clearer standards, and real-world utility in areas such as cross-border payments, tokenized securities, and portfolio management.
The Bangkok event will feature deep-dive discussions on several trends critical to Binance's strategic roadmap, including institutional Bitcoin exposure, stablecoins as payment rails, the institutionalization of DeFi, tokenization of real-world assets and stocks, and regulatory frameworks that enable growth while safeguarding market integrity.
