Binance Sees Largest Bitcoin Outflows in Over Three Years
Bitcoin (BTC) outflows from Binance hit their highest level in over three years during the final week of September, according to new data from CryptoQuant. The exchange saw net outflows of 23,137 BTC in the seven days ending September 27, marking the largest weekly outflow since June 2023.
CryptoQuant suggests that this trend could signal stronger accumulation of Bitcoin, as withdrawals from exchanges often indicate long-term investment intentions. Since September 20, Binance's Bitcoin reserves have dropped by nearly 40,000 BTC, a pattern similar to June 2023 when outflows preceded a significant price rally.
Additionally, large-volume whale entities have increased their stablecoin inflows to Binance by 40% since mid-August, suggesting growing interest in increasing capital exposure to cryptoassets. This behavior contrasts with a earlier period of reduced activity, where inflows had receded from October 2025 peaks exceeding $61 billion.
Bitcoin's price has remained range-bound between $82,500 and $87,400 since September 21, with liquidity on exchanges influencing short-term price movements. CryptoQuant notes that fading seller pressure combined with accumulation could push Bitcoin out of its current consolidation phase.
