Binance Sees Record Bitcoin Outflows and Rising Stablecoin Inflows
Bitcoin (BTC) outflows from Binance hit their highest level since mid-2023, signaling a potential shift in market dynamics. According to CryptoQuant, Binance saw net outflows of 23,137 BTC in the week ending September 27, marking the largest weekly outflow since June 2023. The analytics platform suggests that this trend could be a positive signal for Bitcoin's price, as it indicates accumulation by investors.
The outflows have contributed to a nearly 40,000 BTC drop in Binance's reserves since September 20. CryptoQuant notes that similar patterns in June 2023 preceded a significant price increase, with BTCUSD rising from $26,300 to $30,500 in the following week. The current consolidation phase for BTCUSD, ranging between $82,500 and $87,400 since September 21, could be broken if the accumulation continues.
Meanwhile, Binance has seen a 40% increase in stablecoin inflows from whale entities since mid-August. The rolling 30-day stablecoin inflows rose from $21.7 billion to $30.5 billion, suggesting that large investors are positioning themselves for increased exposure to crypto assets. This behavior contrasts with the lull observed after the October 2025 peak, when inflows exceeded $61 billion.
