Binance has announced that it will block some international crypto transfers for Brazilian users due to new regulations in the country. The restrictions will come into effect on November 1, and users will be required to share more data about their transactions.

The new rules, which follow Brazil's Resolution BCB No. 521/2025, will affect international crypto transfers only. Brazilian users will need to provide details about the intent of their crypto transfers and their transaction partner when sending or receiving crypto abroad.

Binance will require users to fill in a questionnaire for international withdrawals, and the exchange will not submit withdrawals unless the users provide the necessary data. For incoming transfers, there is a chance that the crypto transfers may be frozen and even sent back in some cases.

The collected data will be submitted to the Central Bank of Brazil on a monthly basis, the firm said.
