Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced its support for the network upgrade and hard fork of the Base network. To ensure a smooth experience for users, the exchange will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals for tokens on the Base network from September 30, 2026, at approximately 8:00 PM to around 9:00 PM.

The temporary suspension of deposit and withdrawal operations will not affect trading activity on the platform. Users will still be able to trade relevant tokens on Binance during this time. In fact, Binance will manage all necessary technical requirements for the Base network upgrade and hard fork on behalf of users, eliminating any need for technical actions.

The exchange has stated that it will await an assessment of the Base network's stability after the completion of the upgrade before reopening token deposits and withdrawals.
