Binance Supports Terra Network Upgrade, Temporarily Halts Deposits and Withdrawals
Binance has announced that it will support the upcoming network upgrade on the Terra (LUNA) network. To ensure user transactions remain secure and seamless during the upgrade process, the exchange will temporarily suspend token deposits and withdrawals on the Terra network.
The temporary restriction is scheduled to take effect on September 21, 2026, at approximately 5:00 PM, and is expected to last until the completion of the upgrade. The exchange stated that it will handle all necessary technical operations on behalf of users as part of the upgrade.
Users will not need to perform any technical actions during the upgrade process, but deposit and withdrawal operations will be reopened once the Terra network is assessed to be operating stably and securely following the completion of the upgrade. The exchange did not specify the exact time when these operations would resume.
