Binance System Upgrade Scheduled for September 22, 2026
The cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced that it will undergo a system upgrade on September 22, 2026. The maintenance window is scheduled to last for at least three hours, from 06:00 to 09:00 UTC.
During this time, some services may be limited or unavailable, including the registration process, account login, and setup of two-factor authentication (2FA) and multi-factor authentication (MFA). Additionally, deposit operations, internal money transfers, withdrawals, and crypto payments may also be affected.
However, spot and futures trading will continue as normal, with order execution and matchmaking engines remaining active. Binance has assured users that their funds will remain safe throughout the upgrade process.
The exchange emphasized the importance of user transparency, promising to provide clear information on any limitations or disruptions during the maintenance window. Users are advised to wait a short period before retrying any actions if they encounter errors after the upgrade.
