Binance Ties Up Perpetual Futures to US Treasury Bonds and Bitcoin
Binance Futures has launched three new perpetual futures contracts tied to US Treasury bonds and the ProShares Bitcoin ETF. The new contracts, TMFUSDT, TBTUSDT, and BITOUSDT, started trading on July 27 at 13:30 UTC. These contracts allow users to bet on the performance of the U.S. Treasury bond market and the ProShares Bitcoin ETF.
The TMFUSDT contract is based on the Direxion Daily 20+ Year Treasury Bull 3X ETF, which tracks the performance of the 20-year average U.S. Treasury bond. The TBTUSDT contract is a short-term bet on the ETF Shares UltraShort 20+ Year Treasury (NYSE:UPR). The BITOUSDT contract is based on the ProShares Bitcoin ETF.
The trading fees for all three contracts are settled in USDT, and leverage up to 25x is available. Binance has also established a minimum order size of 0.01 units per contract and a notional value of at least 5 USDT per trade.
