Binance to Remove Six Tokens from Spot Market on August 17
Binance has announced that it will delist six cryptocurrencies from its spot market on August 17, marking another tightening of listing standards. The affected tokens are Across Protocol (ACX), Hashflow (HFT), PIVX, Vulcan Forged PYR (PYR), Vanar (VANRY), and Viction (VIC). All spot trading for these assets will cease at 03:00 UTC on the designated date.
The exchange cited its periodic review process, which evaluates factors such as development activity, liquidity, security, community engagement, transparency, and project-team commitment. The decision to delist is presented as a result of this ongoing quality review rather than a sudden judgment based on one metric.
Traders are advised to cancel orders, confirm withdrawal networks, and prepare for reduced liquidity before the deadline arrives. VANRY users must handle their contract migration independently through the project's portal, as Binance will not support the planned migration. The exchange will continue to support withdrawals of the existing token on Ethereum and Polygon.
This move brings the total number of tokens delisted by Binance in 2026 to 21, demonstrating that listing status can change even after years of exchange availability. Traders are reminded that access to a major platform should not be mistaken for permanent endorsement or guaranteed liquidity.
