Binance TRX Inflow Spikes 79.8 Million on October 1
Binance saw a significant surge in TRX netflow on October 1, with a daily inflow of +79.8 million TRX, the highest in 99 days. The total inflow for the day reached 136.9 million TRX, more than triple the 30-day daily average of 44.4 million TRX. Despite this spike, TRX closed the day at $0.33, down 0.79%. The surge occurred just before the October 2 NFP release, with no major macroeconomic events scheduled on October 1.
The seven-day netflow stood at +75.3 million TRX, but without the October 1 spike, it would have been negative at −30.4 million over 14 days. This indicates that the inflow on October 1 largely drove the weekly netflow. The cumulative netflow reached 37.7 million on October 1 but fell to 35.4 million by October 3, suggesting that the inflow was an isolated event rather than a sustained trend.
Analyzing the correlation between netflow and returns, same-day returns showed a +0.62 correlation, but next-day and two-day returns were weak at −0.05 and +0.19, respectively. This suggests no clear predictive relationship between netflow and future returns. TRX moved just −0.04% on NFP day, despite the prior deposit spike. The latest inflation data showed August CPI at 3.4% YoY, core CPI at 2.4%, and PPI at 5.4% YoY.
TRX is currently trading at $0.3357, up 0.10% over 24 hours and 0.46% over seven days. The 24-hour trading volume is $201,739,711. Analyst Crypto With Gopal noted that TRX is consolidating inside a rectangle pattern on the 4H chart, with resistance near $0.35 and support around $0.322. A breakout above $0.35 could target $0.38, while a breakdown below $0.322 could shift focus toward $0.29.
