Binance Under Second US Probe Over Alleged Sanctions Violations
US authorities are investigating Binance for a second time over allegations that the crypto exchange facilitated Iran-linked trades, potentially violating US sanctions.
The Manhattan US attorney's office and Justice Department's Washington arm are leading the probe, which is separate from an earlier investigation into similar claims.
Binance has maintained it does not tolerate sanctions violations and cooperates fully with law enforcement.
