Binance Unveils 24/7 USD/BRL Perpetual Contract on Futures
Binance is set to introduce a new perpetual contract on its Futures platform, allowing users to trade in USD/BRL. The USDBRLUSDT contract will be available for trading starting September 21 at 10 a.m. ET (14:00 UTC) and will remain open on weekends and public holidays.
The maximum leverage for this contract is 100x, with a minimum trade size of 0.01 USDBRL and a minimum notional value of 5 USDT. Funding payments are settled every eight hours, with a cap ranging from plus 0.375% to minus 0.375%. When the regular foreign-exchange market is closed, Binance uses an order-book exponential weighted moving average.
The contract tracks the exchange rate for $1 in Brazilian real but does not deliver physical dollars or reais. It's a perpetual futures contract with no stated expiration date and may be subject to change based on market conditions.
