Binance Unveils Agent OS: Revolutionary AI-Powered Trading Platform
Binance has launched Agent OS, an AI-powered platform allowing developers to build and deploy artificial intelligence (AI) agents that can trade cryptocurrencies on behalf of users.
The platform, which became operational on August 20, 2026, serves as a bridge linking AI applications to Binance's suite of trading functions, digital wallet services, payment solutions, and real-time market information.
Agent OS operates through five core components: Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Wallet Agentic Hub, Binance x402 protocol, Skill Hub, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server. The MCP Server acts as an intermediary layer facilitating communication between AI clients and Binance's trading infrastructure.
The platform currently supports AI applications such as Claude, Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT, and VS Code, which can establish connections to Binance's systems without requiring local storage of API credentials.
