Binance Updates Proof of Reserves Revealing Strong Asset Backing
Binance, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange, has refreshed its Proof of Reserves (PoR) data, providing an updated breakdown of its asset holdings. The exchange confirmed that all user balances are fully backed on a 1:1 basis, with reserve ratios exceeding 100% for most assets. The latest report covers a wide range of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), Binance Coin (BNB), Solana (SOL), USD Coin (USDC), and several others.
The reserve ratios for major assets stand as follows: Bitcoin at 100.35%, Ethereum at 100.00%, Tether at 103.88%, Binance Coin at 100.47%, Solana at 100.00%, USD Coin at 108.26%, and XRP at 100.77%. The exchange also noted slight variations in user holdings, with Bitcoin increasing to approximately 691,003 BTC and Ethereum decreasing to 33.7 million ETH. Tether holdings saw a marginal rise, reaching around 33.27 billion USDT.
The updated PoR page includes additional assets such as Arbitrum (ARB), Aptos (APT), and several others, all maintaining reserve ratios above 100%. This transparency initiative aims to reassure users about the financial health and stability of the exchange.
