Binance.US has announced plans to apply for a Designated Contract Market (DCM) license from the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) next month.

The move aims to enable regulated prediction markets on the exchange, marking another step in its comeback strategy after years of regulatory challenges and reduced product offerings.

Binance.US CEO Stephen Gregory revealed the plan during a recent conversation at the RareEvo conference, stating that the company is focused on reducing trading fees and expanding beyond traditional spot markets into products such as perpetual contracts.
