Binance.US Unveils Self-Custody Wallet with Cross-Chain Access
Binance.US has taken a significant step towards expanding user control over their cryptocurrency holdings by launching its self-custody wallet. The wallet, available on both iOS and Android devices, allows users to hold and manage their assets without relying on centralized exchanges.
The Binance.US Wallet provides access to thousands of tokens and hundreds of decentralized applications across multiple networks, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Solana, and Robinhood Chain. Users can also swap tokens between these chains seamlessly.
One notable feature of the wallet is its use of keyless technology, which replaces traditional seed phrases with encrypted parts stored across the user's device, personal cloud storage, and Binance.US. This ensures that at least two key shares are required to access the wallet, providing an additional layer of security.
The launch of the self-custody wallet gives Binance.US users direct access to on-chain markets without requiring a separate wallet or platform. Market Spotlight is also introduced, which provides token data and risk indicators for users evaluating digital assets.
