Binance Users Hold 657,000 BTC in Latest Proof of Reserves Report
Binance has published its latest Proof of Reserves report, showing customer Bitcoin holdings reached approximately 657,000 BTC on August 1. This represents a 2.55% monthly increase from the July 1 snapshot.
The exchange reported that users added 16,349 BTC to their balances, making it the largest monthly increase during recent reports. Ethereum holdings moved lower for another consecutive month after previously recording strong growth.
User ETH balances declined by 2.57%, falling by approximately 105,154 ETH to about 3.98 million ETH. USDT balances also dropped by 870 million tokens to around 32.9 billion USDT.
Binance's reserve ratios remain above customer liabilities for major assets, with figures standing at 100.25% for Bitcoin and Ethereum, and 103.62% for USDT. The exchange has not confirmed when its next Proof of Reserves report will be published.
