Binance Wallet Lets Users Pay Gas Fees in USDT Across Four Major Networks

Binance Wallet has introduced a new feature that allows users to pay gas fees in USDT across four major networks: BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Solana, and TRON.

This workaround solves the problem of needing to hold native tokens just to move assets around. The Binance Wallet now handles underlying gas payments on behalf of the user, deducting the equivalent cost in USDT instead.

The feature applies to both USDT transfers and transactions involving other tokens on these chains. TRON gets a promotional push with a limited-time zero-gas-fee promotion from September 23 through December 22, backed by TRON DAO.

After the promotion ends, the standard fee for TRON transfers will settle at 1 USDT per transaction. This positioning allows Binance to compete with centralized alternatives and gives users a predictable cost for sending USDT on-chain via Binance Wallet.
