Binance XRP Reserves Plummet by Over Half a Billion Amid Bear Market
Ripple's XRP token has seen its reserves on Binance drop significantly over the past year, falling by more than 500 million in 21 months. According to data from CryptoQuant, as of September 1, 2026, Binance held approximately 2.61 billion XRP, down from 3.17 billion in November 2024.
This decline represents a 17.4% reduction in Binance's supply of XRP and coincides with the token's bear market performance in 2025 and 2026. Despite this price weakness, the data suggests that XRP whales are accumulating the token, potentially through spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
The token's price has experienced a 27.68% selloff year-to-date (YTD), trading at $1.33 as of reporting time. However, with a renewed uptrend in investors' accumulation and declining supply on Binance, XRP's price may continue to rise.
