Binance's CZ Shifts Stance on Real World Assets After Bhutan Summit
CZ Binance, CEO of popular cryptocurrency exchange Binance, spoke at a recent summit in Bhutan about his shift from skepticism to enthusiasm for Real World Assets (RWA) in the crypto space. Initially hesitant due to doubts about RWA's viability, CZ was impressed by the surge of interest from non-U.S. buyers flocking to bStocks.
The YZI Labs Summit in Bhutan explored the concept of agentic trading, which emerged as a crucial factor driving on-chain RWA adoption. This innovative methodology features programmable ownership and unified settlement processes that mitigate security risks associated with fragmented platforms.
A key highlight of the event was the introduction of Gelephu Mindfulness City, an experimental Layer 2 initiative in Bhutan aiming to establish its own legal framework and include a new airport by 2029. By positioning itself as a testing ground for cryptocurrency regulatory frameworks, Bhutan seeks to pave the way in RWA adoption.
