Bit2Me Joins Forces with Regulators on Crypto Asset Tracking
Bit2Me has set up a specialized unit to assist law enforcement in tracking down crypto assets. The news comes as part of a broader effort by companies in the space to work with regulators and law enforcement agencies.
LCX AG, a company based in Liechtenstein, is currently in the process of applying for authorization as a crypto-asset service provider under MiCA (EU 2023/1114). The Financial Market Authority (FMA) Liechtenstein is reviewing their application. LCX AG is not currently authorized to offer crypto-asset services to persons in the EEA pending authorisation.
Crypto-assets involve significant risks, including total loss, according to the company's notice. LCX does not provide services to persons in the United Kingdom or the United States (Jurisdiction Notice). The move by Bit2Me and other companies aims to increase transparency and cooperation with regulators, potentially paving the way for greater adoption of crypto assets.
