BitBox recently released a critical firmware update to patch two severe vulnerabilities in its devices. The patches aim to prevent unauthorized access and protect user data.

The update comes as several blockchain projects have been plagued by security issues, including Harmony's recent exploit of forged ONE tokens that triggered a major incident.

Harmony plans to roll back its chain to August 11, discarding over 109,000 transactions after the issue was discovered. The protocol has traced nearly all of the affected transactions to a single entity.
