Bitcoin and Ether ETFs Attract Over $450M in New Funds Amid Price Weakness
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs continued their streak of strong inflows on September 23, attracting $347 million in new funds. This marks the fifth consecutive trading session with positive flows for these funds.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the session with $166 million in inflows, accounting for nearly half of the total amount added to U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs.
The latest inflow is smaller than some of the previous sessions, but it remains notable given the current price weakness of Bitcoin, which slipped below $84,000 on September 23.
U.S. spot Ether ETFs also recorded an influx of funds, with $105 million in new money being added on September 23. BlackRock's ETHA accounted for $50.8 million of that total.
