Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Bleed $1.11 Billion After Fed Rate Hike
Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs suffered significant losses over two days, losing $1.11 billion combined.
The outflows began after the CLARITY Act procedural vote failed, and the Fed raised interest rates for the first time in three years.
Ethereum ETFs saw the largest single-day outflow since January 30, 2026, with a total of $365.58 million over two days. BlackRock's ETHA led the way, shedding $110.03 million.
The Fed's rate hike to a 3.75% to 4% target range was widely expected, and analysts warn that there is still a risk of policy overshoot as energy prices continue to rise.
