Bitcoin and Ethereum Must Break Free of Current Levels or Face Further Losses
Aksel Kibar, a former fund manager, is warning that Bitcoin and Ethereum may not be out of the woods yet despite their recent bull market. According to Kibar, both cryptocurrencies need to move quickly away from their current levels to continue their uptrend.
Kibar highlighted a major weekly support level at approximately $82,800 for Bitcoin, which was previously a strong resistance level since BTC capitulated to $60,000 in February. He emphasized that if the price does not quickly move away from its current level, it may result in further losses.
For Ethereum, Kibar argued that its price has broken its May 2026 apex and must rocket over the coming weeks to maintain its recently established uptrend. He also highlighted a support range between $2,550 and $2,350 for ETH, which it needs to hold above to register more weekly upsides.
