Bitcoin and Ethereum Rally Amid SEC Tokenization Push
Cryptocurrency prices surged on Sunday as risk appetite increased amid the Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) push to introduce tokenized-stock products.
The market capitalization of cryptocurrencies reached $2.81 trillion, a 1.12% increase from the previous day.
BTC spiked late evening, briefly surpassing $82,000 before pulling back, while Ethereum surged past $2,700, supported by a 41% jump in 24-hour volume.
Killa, a widely followed cryptocurrency analyst and trader, predicted Bitcoin would reach $89,070, advising against shorting near $81,000.
'I'm not interested in shorting the same $81,000 highs again & again,' Killa said. 'Compression within an uptrend will always lead to expansion eventually.'
