The streak of institutional buying in Bitcoin and Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) continues, with both categories experiencing their ninth consecutive day of net inflows on August 27.

Bitcoin spot ETFs added $242.30 million, while Ethereum spot ETFs brought in $235 million, according to CoinGlass data.

The recent surge in institutional demand has been significant, with BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) contributing $209 million of the $338 million Bitcoin ETF inflow on August 24, and its Ethereum fund, ETHA, adding $90.92 million of that day's $116 million Ethereum ETF haul.

The parallel streaks suggest institutions are building positions across both assets rather than rotating between them.
