Bitcoin Approaches Short-Liquidation Cluster Zone
Glassnode, a leading on-chain analytics firm, has identified a critical price zone for Bitcoin where large volumes of short-position liquidations are concentrated. According to Glassnode, this zone ranges between $83,000 and $86,000.
The firm warns that if Bitcoin reaches this range, forced liquidations of short positions could drive a rapid price increase. These short positions have accumulated over several weeks, putting upward pressure on the market.
Glassnode's analysis is based on current market data, with Bitcoin trading at $81,147.66 as of September 19, up 5.90% from the previous day. This surge in price has brought Bitcoin closer to the identified short-liquidation cluster.
