Bitcoin Bear Market May Be Ending as Short-Term Holder Profitability Turns Bullish
A signal from CryptoQuant suggests that Bitcoin's bear market may be ending as short-term holder profitability has remained positive for nearly a month.
CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost noted that this condition has historically appeared near major Bitcoin market reversals, including the 2023 recovery.
The current period of sustained profitability is significant because it indicates that roughly 62% of short-term holder value remains in profit, with a profit-to-loss ratio of about 1.64 and $65.6 billion in unrealized profits against $102.6 billion in unrealized losses.
A key level for confirming a more durable Bitcoin reversal is $80,000, which Darkfost identified as an important threshold for maintaining a bullish interpretation.
